In jestercourt sat the Antelope Lord of Halefoot on his throne of bone and polyp, feathery tubeworms fanning the air. At his feet sat the fruit-bearing Stag of the Stellanarsi, banner of their lost homeworld (for it was many an age ago when the crudest of space stations were set afloat in the celestial veil, and many more still when these were discovered by ships far faster), licking its long, graceful legs in nonchalance.

A little droplet of crop milk fell into an invisible bottle, feeding frosted flocks on her homeworld of Gortree in its dustward spin.
