Amazing, I dream of a similar race of beings with elongated skulls, subtle features and similar hair-styles, but not as wrinkly. Also mine are many blue or green skinned.
I like the line designs on their skin, is this for decoration or have you figured out what each symbol means?
Also, I like the idea of the insectoid cod-piece, could it be a parasitic relationship, y'know, drink my pee and ya can stay there and make me look really cool? And if it's not, is is an actual giant dead bug he wears or is it like a created thing, like metal or wood?
What is the oval ring for that the male seems to be manipulating over the female's head?
Also, should I be assuming genders, are there just two? And out of 7th grade curiosity does the male have a dick...or two and how big do they get (and if you have any nudes...)?
2. I have no clue what the symbols mean but Seef (the one with several pigtails) has honor bars on her cheeks. Some of the symbols were inspired by 's version of her. Tsavong Lah (the one with the long hair and funky arm) has the symbol of his domain (clan) on his forehead and a line across his eyes that his domain gets.
3.The insect is alive but not a parasite. I think he dips it in a nutrient feed every so often.
4.The ring the male (Vasi) is holding is his serpent weapon, the amphistaff. The rings on his clothing are supposed to recall S & M.
5.Yuuzhan Vong are two-gendered, although they have transgender priests. Not my decision, of course. I think they have slits like dolphins and keep everything on the inside until they need to use it.
amazing work, I'm a world-maker too, sometimes it feels like I'm a telepathic tourist, exploring a real place, getting to know the locals and their customs.

oh yes I likes Tsavong Lah I do I love all the little intricate details you have added in each sketch, I was going to ask if you had plans to colour it yourself actually, I like your pen over paint technique. Seef's sari is particuarly flattering I think, and I like what you did with Tsavong Lah's hair. Figuratively I like your second sketch of Vasi the best, nice biot handling there too! I like the fact that there is always so much going on in your sketching.
